Visual support resources can play a valuable role in developing your child’s understanding, communication, and independence. They are particularly beneficial for children who are pre-verbal or who experience difficulties with communication.

These resources are used regularly throughout the school day, so your child is likely to already be familiar with them. We encourage families to use the same visual supports at home and when out in the community to provide consistency and reinforce communication skills.

Please feel free to print and laminate these resources to improve their durability. If printing is not possible, you may wish to save screenshots on your phone and use them digitally.

If you would like support in accessing or creating visual resources, please speak to Ashley from the Family Support Team or contact your child’s class team, who will be happy to help.
